Sole Slam was established in 2011 by Antonio Aguirre Jr., Ira Cordero, and Luis Carballo. With sneaker culture as its driving force, Sole Slam began as a sneaker convention that eventually evolved into a brand of its own. In a short span, Sole Slam has developed into a cultural hub that promotes contemporary fashion, music, art, and sports.

Sole Slam encompasses the many sub-cultures that surround sneaker culture. As the first sneaker convention in the country, Sole Slam is the major platform for local streetwear aficionados. Its vision is to achieve tastemaker status by celebrating the many homegrown brands in the Philippines and introducing them to a world audience.
